Starting Monday, February 20th, there will be on and off Boardwalk Closures at the Springbrook Nature Center for replacement- watch for signage. Two sections of Boardwalks will be replaced: the far south west corner, & north-south section behind the Itasca Waterpark (blue paths on the map). Project is scheduled to be completed by early May. 

This joint project of the Itasca Park District & Village of Itasca is being funded through a Capital Museum Grant from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources that was awarded in 2022 to the Itasca Park District.
