Birthday Party Packages

Our staff will work with you to create a memorable party including games, activities, and crafts.

Rec Center Parties


  • Parties are geared towards 3-10 year old children.
  • Parties are 2 hours long.
  • Party prices include 12 guests. Birthday child is free; each additional guest is $5.
  • Parties are run by Itasca Park District Birthday Party Staff.
  • Party does not include cake plates, napkins, cake, candles, or matches, but you are more than welcome to bring your own.
  • Parties are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and should be scheduled a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.

Create Your Own Theme

A base charge of $190 will be charges when creating your own theme.


Gymnastics Party - $200

Our gymnastics area is the perfect place for jumping, rolling, climbing, sliding, and swinging using gymnastics equipment. The guests also get to try out an obstacle course set up by our staff.


Magic Show - $375

Make your party unique, entertaining, and memorable with the incredible magic of Gary Kantor. You will see a vanishing act, card tricks, mind-reading and much more. All shows are interactive and the birthday child will come on stage and become a Junior Magician right before your eyes. There is always a lot of audience participation and laughter. Appropriate for ages 4 and up. Balloon animals available as an option.


Sports & Games Party - $185

A perfect party for a young sports fan! At this party, relays, games and open gym time will keep those party-goers busy. Gym shoes required.


Balloon Animal Party - $275


Balloon Animals...they're a huge hit at birthday parties! And now your party can have balloon animals being made non-stop for 45 minutes by the Magic Team of Gary Kantor. Dogs, butterflies, swords, giraffes, etc. And the kids will do more than just play with the balloons. They'll also get to decorate their animals with stickers and markers. At the end of the party, all kids will take home their very own collection of balloon animals. Appropriate for ages 3 and up.


Larger Rooms

If you need a larger room for your birthday party you can rent the Iris Rooms or the Lounge for an additional $50. Each room has kitchen facilities, banquet tables and chairs and set up and take-down services. It is recommended to upgrade with parties of 20 or more.
